Q. Do I need to obtain any further items for my whirlpool?
A. Yes, you need to decide on taps for your bath and ensure your whirlpool comes complete with panel's, if not they need to be ordered either through the accessories tab, alternatively they can also be obtained with any local DIY chain. A waste assembly is also required which again can be purchased through the Accessories tab. Currently UR Direct do not stock taps, but please check this site regulary as they will be available soon.

Q. Which whirlpool do I choose?
A. This is a very personal choice but a few helpful hints are, first measure the bathroom to see what size of bath you can fit in the space, then decide the style of whirlpool you like, all you need to do now is choose the system, please note that more jets does not necessarily mean the whirlpool is more powerful, it all depends on the size width and shape of the whirlpool, but at UR Direct we give you the best system at the best price, if you are still unsure please do not hesitate to give one of our sales representatives a call on 0870 803 1472.

Q. What is the difference between ABS and Acrylic?
A. ABS is cheaper to manufacture and has bad side affects for example, if you place an ABS bath in front of a window it will start to go yellow and start to show signs of cracking, if you drop something in the bath and it chips, this is not repairable. The colour is also a bright white which will not always match your ceramic ware, most overseas manufactures use this product. Acrylic as used by UR Direct is twice the price of ABS but is not affected by UV light and can be easily repaired if neccessary, the colour will also match the rest of your ceramic ware (based on the colour being a white suite).

Q. What is encapsulated?
A. Encapsulated means that there is a base board underneath the fibre glass coating, again this is very expensive to do but does give you a high quality bathtub, one of the strongest money can buy.
